The Conservative Mennonite Conference held its annual summer conference in upstate New York. The conference was hosted by the following CMC churches – Carthage, Naumburg, Pine Grove, Croghan, and Lowville. The location of the conference was Beaver River Central School in Beaver Falls, about 30 miles east of Watertown on Rt. 126. The theme of the conference was The Great Commission.
The conference began on Thursday evening with A Taste of Missions hosted by Rosedale Mennonite Missions and included missionary testimonies and ethnic snacks.

Friday morning and afternoon featured separate meetings for women, men, youth, and children. Barbara Borntrager, author and speaker from Harrisonburg, Virginia, addressed the women. Jim Rogers (Dover, Delaware) and Elmer Miller (Kalona, Iowa) spoke to the men. Jason Carpenter (Richmond, KY) was the youth speaker. The ministers gathered for a business meeting.
The Christian Education program on Friday evening was hosted by Rosedale Bible College and featured guest speaker Johannes Reimer (Germany).

Saturday's program included an address from Phil Stutzman, our conference moderator, as well as Lael Barkman (Harlan, IN) speaking on The Great Commission Message. We also heard from the conference choir. A number of workshops were offered on Saturday afternoon following the theme The Great Commission Ministries. On Saturday evening, following a hymn sing, Max Zook (Belleville, PA) preached the conference sermon The Great Commission Mandate.
Sunday morning featured missions. Various missionaries spoke, a children's choir will sang, and Johannes Reimer (Germany) preached.
