Ministry Resources

Conservative Mennonite Conference has developed the following ministries to aid the local church.

Equipper Website – God has gifted a number of leaders within CMC with special abilities in equipping his saints. These men and women are people of integrity, years of experience, and have a passion for ministering in their area of gifting.

These leaders present a mini-lecture of about 12-17 minutes that is solidly grounded in Scripture. The videos contain visual content along with the lecture. The material has a theoretical base with a practical emphasis. To enhance the learning experience, each video link also contains a pdf download for note-taking and lesson plans.

The following categories are listed on this website:

  • Preaching/Teaching
  • Counseling
  • Leadership
  • Discipleship
  • Worship
  • Youth

Kingdom Living – CMC has developed a twelve-lesson curriculum targeting senior high youth. The lessons focus on the teachings of Jesus that may be neglected in youth curriculum from the wider evangelical world.

Each lesson is ready to go and contains ice breakers, scripture, interaction, and a prayer activity. All of the material is in digital form. Youth leaders can download the lesson elements (in PDF) and print out the number of copies needed.

Women In Ministry – In response to a 2014 survey of CMC minister’s wives, a number of programs were developed, including the following:
  1. Retreat for pastors’ wives – A retreat is held once a year and will rotate among the following locations: Goshen, Indiana; Belleville, PA, and Columbus, Ohio. Contact Steve Swartz for a current schedule at
  2. Informal Counseling/Prayer Ministry – Four experienced pastor’s wives are available to assist pastor’s wives with encouragement, support, advice, and prayer.
